Happy Birthday Charlie!

Happy Birthday Charlie!

by Wendell Maxey

Something tells me this is going to be a very good year for Charlie Reznikoff.

As many of you know, Charlie is one of our contributing members at Full Court Peace and has given back with us in a number of ways these past few years — from outreach trips to Cuba, to refurbishing basketball courts around Connecticut and also serving as a camp counselor at our spring and summer basketball camps. Needless to say, Charlie is just one example of a guy giving back to the game he loves.

That goes a very long way in life…in the game….in the world. While helping FCP strengthen bonds between cultures and communities through the game, Charlie is also juggling life in college in classroom and on the court. The Wilton native is a sophomore at Lesley University (Division 3) in Cambridge, Mass., who grabbed headlines after a career night:

BOSTON, Mass. – Lesley University sophomore Charlie Reznikoff came off the bench to register a career-high 21 points to lead the Lynx to their fifth consecutive victory with an 83-78 win at Emerson College…

We are very proud of the work young guys like Charlie do on and off of the court to contribute in their communities, on the court as part of a team, and always willing to lend a helping hand through our on-going work here at Full Court Peace.

Giving back through basketball. Excelling in the classroom. Dropping 21 points off the bench on guys…..

Not a bad way to celebrate turning 20-years old today.

Happy Birthday Charlie!
