It’s that time already.
For the last four months we have shared numerous stories (we barely scratched the surface) from our past as we celebrate "10 Years Of Full Court Peace" and look ahead to another decade of making a difference in our communities and around the world through basketball. The goal here was to pull back the curtain a bit. Everyone gets to hear and read about the outreach trips to Cuba, Mexico, Ireland and the basketball camps, clinics and court repairs around Connecticut, but those are simply small strokes on a much larger canvas stretched across 10 years of meetings, planning, coordinating, scheduling trips, flights, gathering donations, lugging gear, painting courts, building lasting relationships and caring for those who make Full Court Peace their passion.
Hopefully this series has encouraged people to get involved and better understand the mission of Full Court Peace.
Better understand our roots and realities. Better understand that you can make an impact by first taking the step. Better understand the care, time and daily dedication that goes into FCP. Better understand that we are just getting warmed up.
But first we look back.
