Last year, Full Court Peace launched a holiday fundraiser focused on a basic three step concept: make a small contribution, receive a limited time Full Court Peace T-Shirt and help us donate a basketball to underprivileged Connecticut youth in Norwalk, Bridgeport and Stamford. This year, the fundraiser is made even easier with efforts going to support more centers within Fairfield County thanks to our additional sponsors.

We are kicking off our #FCP10 vision by keeping a focus on giving back to our local and less fortunate neighborhoods and communities around Connecticut. After refurbishing and painting a Colonial Village in Norwalk, Connecticut this past summer (pictured above), Full Court Peace is back at it with another local court…this time in Danbury on Saturday.

Earlier this week, Full Court Peace founder Mike Evans spoke to a group of middle school students at the Wooster School in Danbury, Connecticut to share more about our FCP outreach programs and what it means to help bridge the gap between communities and cultures. The Atlanta Hawks Foundation has one goal in mind when it comes to building and revamping basketball courts around the city: 25 courts in 5 years. The best part is they are right on track to reach their goal and continue giving back through basketball.
